Jordan 8 Retro DB Doernbecher 2014

This special Jordan 8 Retro colorway made its debut at the Portland Art Museum. This colorway was designed by Caden Lambert, a patient at Doernbecher Children's Hospital who has been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease known as Guillain-Barré syndrome. Caden is a basketball player himself, so on the shoe's cross-strap design, he replaced Michael Jordan's jersey number with his own jersey number, '14.' The upper is almost entirely in a speckled blue with orange, black, and yellow accents. The tongue on the left shoe has a red Jumpman logo on it, while the tongue on the right shoe has a graphic design of a cobra. There are also inspirational quotes all over the shoe, saying things like "Rock On," "Brave," and "Hang Loose."
