Few WWE wrestlers have as much name recognition as Lita. When discussing the Attitude era, she was one of the most influential performers in the ring. Any match in which she performed was destined to become a fan favorite, making Lita WWE wrestling fan apparel and souvenirs collectible.

Lita is the wrestling persona of Amy Dumas, a retired American wrestler with the wrestling entertainment promotion WWE. Born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on April 14, 1975, Lita made a name for herself in WWE, but her legacy truly began in Mexico where she trained to begin her wrestling career.

Once Lita returned to the United States, she earned her way into WWE by making several appearances for companies on the independent circuit in live shows. During these appearances, Lita crossed paths with Matt and Jeff Hardy who noticed her potential and offered to train with her. She would later enter into a romantic relationship with Matt Hardy.

After a brief run in the wrestling promotion ECW in the year 1999, Lita was approached by WWE officials and subsequently signed a developmental deal with the promotion that began the same year.
