    You won't regret your purchase of the grand prime!

    This phone sports a nice, bright screen. It may not be as nice as say the s6 but for what you get for the price of the grand prime it's a very decent screen that may not be full HD but still nice. My old phone used to have 10% battery life left after a whole day at work, but with the grand prime I have about 84% battery life left when I got home. The battery life is quite remarkable for the grand prime and can go I'd say a couple days without charging your phone and not worry about your phone dying, unless you use it constantly I guess. One downside I have to mention is it takes quite a long time to charge, I believe the first time I charged it the phone took about a good 3-4 hours to charge. But again, once the phone is charged it has a very good battery life, or at least compared to what I was used to. The phone also feels very sturdy, which is always a plus. The camera is very high quality and includes all the typical photo features such as face detection, color modifications, and panorama which I love! And most importantly of all, the call quality is CRYSTAL CLEAR AND AT A DECENT VOLUME!! My old phone drove me crazy with everyone sounding so quiet and I blamed everyone for being so quiet. I feel bad because now I realize it was my old phone's problem. If you buy this phone, you can expect GREAT sound quality on both your speaker and microphone. All in all, I give it an 9/10, as I prefer to give my ratings in the 10s. it has it's few flaws but it's pros are what makes this phone shine and make it worth the money. If you can't afford a more expensive phone like the S5 or S6 but still want a decent smartphone you can count on, I highly recommend this phone! Paired with Straight Talk, you get 5gbs of 4g LTE for only $45 a month. Awesome value for me as I never use more than 1gb of data a month! You might find that a decent deal too, as you don't have to worry about being charged extra for data usage or signing contracts.

    Samsung Galaxy S SCH-I500-2GB Verizon Smartphone

    I finally broke down and traded-up to a smartphone. My LG Envy 1100 was very long in the tooth and I wanted some of the advantages of a smartphone without spending too much. I got the Samsung Galaxy S Fascinate because it was a small form factor, decent battery life (more on that later) and not so far from the leading edge that it lacks features I wanted in a smartphone. The display is great, and I have no desire to change wallpaper at this point. The home page is set up in a fairly intuitive way, so you really don't need the manual to operate it in a basic way. I turned on wireless right away, and that is the down side of battery life. If you plan on using wireless more than a few minutes at a time, get the bigger 3500 battery. It makes the phone thicker, but lasts much longer when on wireless. I really like the basic feel of the device, and for a first smartphone, I am very satisfied. There are quite a few ringtones/alert sounds to choose from, but I do miss the sounds on my LG Envy 1100 for waking to the alarm in the morning, and there doesn't seem to be a real loud alarm tone...maybe I can download one. The camera is OK, but to me, this is a phone, OK? My phone doesn't need to do EVERYTHING under the sun. I wouldn't recommend this for someone who lives on social media. But it is a nice solid phone, and considering that this is refurbished, I am very happy with the Samsung Galaxy S I500

    nice phone all the way around

    I'm new to android and a data plan with this Galaxy S Blaze. The OS is Android Ice Cream Sandwich version 4.0.1 and it is nice to have an older version to get my feet wet with. The phone is very serviceable with 5 megapixel camera and decent video. As long as you stick with normal memory footprint apps this phone is stellar in its response to commands. Although nowadays the memory and processor resources will get used up fairly quickly once more demanding apps are run. A couple of issues I've noticed, the onscreen keyboard size especially in portrait mode and the dictionary continually changing my txt. These are issues I will overcome with more practice and getting used to how android and samsung work together. It's really frustrating as a beginner to have a simple txt look like it's been written in a different language after it's been sent out. :( Free google account and millions of android apps available is just nice to get with any android phone. Generally I've had a very positive experience using this phone. It has not allowed me to run some of the more feature rich apps that are now available for newer more powerful phones. With more android experience I might be able to get them to run and at the price point of this phone its performance might be sufficient, yet some of the newer phones will make the experience ( seem almost seamless ) .

    Qwerty joy

    She likes texting with a physical keypad and does not need cutting edge smartphone features. This phone seems to perfectly address those requirements. This appeared upon receipt to be an unused device, although branded with a "ptel" logo that was also displayed on startup prior to t-mobile activation. I popped in the new battery, fastened the back plate on, pressed the side power on button and the phone went through it's presentation routine with clear sound and a nicely illuminated screen. We'll be using the phone in Europe, so we needed GSM. So, off to t-mobile with it. Activation went smoothly. Now everything's working with a web browser, an ok camera and screen size big enough for viewing photos of dogs, horses, kids, geese and occasional web browsing. Keyboard is a bit wider than on the old feature phone. That's more than enough of an upgrade to please the new owner.

    Galaxy S4 still a great phone:

    Received phone a day ahead due date, which was great because my S4 stopped rebooting altogether. Phone was in perfect condition, in original box, Samsung charger and cord, original ear buds, and a new Otter Box Defender protected thrown in. While it was not the cheapest used S4 on the Web it seemed like the best value. So far that's proved true. For me the S4 is still perfect and replacing on line is much less expensive than the Verizon insurance. Eventually the Samsung operating system upgrade will decrease it's usefulness. Until that hopefully distant time this was a great choice and purchase.

    A great phone for someone who wants a Samsung Galaxy but also needs the Qwerty keypad.

    I've had three different smart phones with a Qwerty keypad, but this is the best. It is not at all bulky, though you might have trouble finding a good protective case for this type of phone, with its slider keyboard.. Its not just that the phone is good - but the layout of the keypad makes it easier to text. Sadly, these kind of phones have disappeared from the modern phone lineup, so find one in new or good used condition if you can.

    I replaced my phone that had a broken charging port

    This phone was cheaper than repairing my charging port on my old oneso I just bought the same model. It was new and was easy to set up. It has ICS so that is getter old in terms of new apps not being compatible but I use my laptop for most of my device workt so I don't need them. I still like it being so small. The phone came fast so I have no complaints

    Great little media player
